Just go to the Leicester Square Theatre website for more details. That is totally fine- if you hate it you don't need to come to see me BUT if you did like the film and this appeals do come along. Parents need to know that Blinded by the Light is a feel-good, fact-based comedy about a Pakistani teenager (Viveik Kalra) growing up in 1980s England whose life is transformed by the music of Bruce Springsteen. I know from scanning this site occasionally that the film divides people and there are some who think its super cheesy, or they just don't like it or me for some reason. Oh and both nights there will be some very special guests.

There will be photos of the real people who inspired the characters in the film and I might even some of my teenage poems if I feel brave. Oh and there will lots of hilarious/tragic anecdotes about following Bruce around the world and how it feels to go from being a random fan to someone who now actually knows him. There will be lots of stories about growing up, about my mum and dad and how I tried to follow my dream without letting them down. Since the film came out I have been inundated with messages from all over the world from people saying that the film spoke to them, that it reminded them of their relationship with their parents and so on but the two things everyone asks is 'how much is true' and 'what happened next' so that is what the one man show will try to answer. The show - which was meant to take place last March- will tell the true story that inspired my film. But the new film 'Blinded By The Light' tells the story of Javed Khan, a British teen from a traditional Pakistani family trying to grow up in the Thatcher era where jobs are being lost and the.

I just wanted to let you all know that later this month in London I am doing two shows at the Leicester Square Theatre on October 27/28 which, if you liked my film, may appeal. Hello everyone This is Sarfraz Manzoor- some of you may have seen my film Blinded by the Light or read my memoir Greetings from Bury Park. "Bruce is the direct line to all that's true in this shitty world," how true.
